Heavy Duty Headset EH120

There are two versions of the Heavy Duty handset, ‘Standard’ or ‘Autoplay’. In combination with an audio player, the standard handset works like any other handset: you hold it to your ear and listen to the sound.

The AutoPlay version has an auto-trigger function that can be used to activate audio content when the handset is removed from the magnetic suspension.

Under the moulded PVC, an 8 mm thick, 1.35 m long armoured stainless steel cable protects the internal audio cable. A 3.5 mm audio socket enables easy connection to your audio source. A robust strain relief, which connects the cable to the handset, provides further protection against cable breakage and ensures maximum durability of your handset.

90° swivel joint and mounting plate

The supplied 90° swivel joint and mounting plate are used to attach the handset. This provides a reinforced, swivelling anchor point that prevents cable breakage. The mounting plate is not supplied with fixing screws.

With the 90° swivelling joint and the connection plate, the high-performance handset can be mounted through any surface. The joint can be mounted through any panel or housing. The 3.5 mm audio socket has a 650 mm cable (from the mounting plate to the mounting plate) that can be connected to your chosen playback device.

For an extra charge, you can also use an optional drop-shaped mounting plate (‘tar drop’) instead of the connection plate, which combines the magnetic suspension and the 90° swivel joint into a single, tidy installation point.
